To replace the broken drum paddles of my indesit wm12x, i've purchased new ones but all efforts to fit them have failed.

Can you advise on how to fit these paddles securely

The paddle pulls forward and its the metal flap in the middle that has to be depressed a little while pulling the paddle forward, using a thin rod pressing down to release it. Before replaceing the paddle make sure the metal flap is slightly up this holds the paddle in place.

hi, i have purchased three new paddles for the indisit wm12x washing machine and in the middle of were the paddle go's there is a approx 1/2 inch metal flap under each paddle, does this flap have to be up or down ? as when the paddles broke off the washing has altered the possition of these metal flaps, thankyou and your right!! they are a pile of rubbish at £10.00 per paddle!!!! they should redesign the paddles and supply at no cost to buyers.

mine are breaking at the rate of one a week, its still under warranty at present so it will be a problem in the future.
The paddles are easy to fit just push the lugs into the holes and slide to the back of the drum. Ive had lots of practice! with this piece of cheap chinese crap
