How do I replace the oven door on a Belling G755 cooker?

when the door is removed, the plates to which the hinges are attached fall off inside the cooker casing. How can these be re-fitted

To answer my own question ... found out the hard way! Take the back panel off the stove; and pull off the electrical supply spade connectors. Use a long dowel with a magnet attached to hold the bottom hinge fixing backplate in place - and get someone to use a thin screwdriver to line up the plate screwholes, and then to fix the hinge.
It helps to have a second assistant for the next step. You can get a hand to the top hinge backplate - hold this in place while your "accomplice(s)" put the door on the bottom hinge (ensuring that the hinge pin bearings are in place), and then fix the top hinge in place.
(Note that each hinge is fixed using two machine screws and one self-tapping screw. The latter are fitted in the hole nearest the cooker side).
Reconnect the electrical supply spade connectors, and replace the back panel.
