Problem with Glow Worm 30 Ci boiler?

I have posted a similar question but still with no answers. Anyone out there with any ideas? My Glow worm 30ci is playing up. The water temperature fluctuates from cold to warm to cold to hot to warm to cold etc. The burners operate and seem to ignite and light fully, but then they extinguish after a few seconds before igniting again , and going through the whole process again. Thus i can hear the flame igniting many times in a few minutes which i have not heard before. Any ideas?? Thanks, Will

Sorry Will, at the end of the day you HAVE to get a corgi registered heating engineer to look at it and repair it for you. This is the law. Is it worth your families life to try and save a few quid? the answer is a resounding NO!!!

Hi, Thanks,, it was a sludged up heat exchanger. Flushed with Sentinel x 400 which solved the problem. Thanks!

The boiler was fitted 4 years ago to an existing system. Can't say whether the system was cleaned properly or not as I didn't fix it. Is this something I could possibly do myself or do I call the experts in? Thanks Will
