how do i get the door lining(drivers door) off without damaging it?

need to take the lining off the drivers side door to repair window mechanism for mot car is an audi 80.

a couple of screws in the sides of the panel, a few in the door handle and latch where you open the door from the inside.
then slot the panel UPWARDS to remove it.
then just remove the wires attached to it!!
