Replacing the clutch is incredibly easy after I figured out that the threads on the clutch are left handed. I removed the three screws from the bottom of the blender, removed the motor assembly, placed the old clutch (mine was totally broken off and all that was left was the brass fitting) into a vise and used a standard screw driver in the other end and turned the shaft clockwise (due to the left hand thread). Once the brass fitting was removed I placed the motor back in the blender, threaded the new clutch (counter clockwise to tighten) and then reinstalled the bottom of the blender with the three screws. It really was a very easy repair.
