ford escort 1800 efi 1993 ghia zetec 16 valve?

the car once started and trying to pull away has a horrible tinny rattle from cam belt end of engine when warm noise does lessen any idears and also when car cold does not want to pull properly as if there is a restriction in fueling it hesitates once warm better but sometimes seems to have a flat spot about mid throttle any idears please thanks paul

Try replacing the Lamda sensor in the exhaust front pipe.

if the is a automatick choke this will mean that it will not pull till it is warm.

the rattle sounds like something loose a cover maby or a bolt in it when it gets hot it probly expands it would probaly be best for you to make shore that all the bolds are torked up to the corect settings.
