How can i make the volume louder on my Toshiba Stellite Pro laptop.

I have tried the control panel but cannot seem to hear anything everything is very low in volume

Hi Janie ususally some programs come in with his own volume do verify thtat if don't work maybe is time to replace the soundcard.
