how can i fix my ford focus tdci 02 model 115bhp?

failure to start.
battery ok. fuel to injectors. glow plugs working.
drained fuel filter. diesel in tank. power to stop switch.
engine turns as normal but does not start. glow plug light flashes when starter is in motion.

it dosent sound like good news ,your tdci is a high-pressure diesel injection system, and they dont fare well if you contaminate the diesel with petrol, even a very tiny ammount of petrol can really destroy your diesel pump and that in turn can wreck your injectors, because there is no lubricant in petrol your pump has been running dry so to speak and it sounds like there is damage done.older diesel seem to fare out better, but the tdci is the newer type diesel engine ,

If the glow plug lights flash, a 'plug in' should determine what the problem is. This is simply a small handheld computer that plugs in (theres a ledge under your steering wheel where you will see the plug hole) Whilst the light is flashing, the computer will list any errors (and the error list is extensive, covers anything from engine to faulty accelerator sensors)

Had the same on mine, Ford said it was fuel contamination, said it smelt like it had petrol in it ,but had run fine on the first half of the tank. It went wrong immediately after the MOT !!

They drained the tank, fitted a new filter, but it hasn't run very well since, better if I use Wynns injector lub (Halfords £5.99) so probably some damage to fuel pump.

Good luck
