i have a ford escort automatic 1.8 1997 when i start the car put it in reverse its fine but when i shift to drive it stalls but if i let the engine warm up for abit it is fine most of the time any help would be a help,thanks
check the level of your transmission fluid, may possibly need either topping up or the fluid could be contaminated and need changing the latter being very rare.
