my alarm will arm when i press the lock button on the remote but will not lock the doors, and the alarm will only go off (in armed mode) when i put the key into the ignition, not when i open the door.
not a stock alarm, was put on the car before I bought it 2 years ago (never had any problems).

Remotes controll does not lock/unlock, battery is replace and two remotes have been try. Checks all fuse connect to security systems...
