my shower TRITON T100si doesnt stop running?

my electric shower TRITON T100si doesnt stop running when im finished no matter how many times i press the STOP button. what should i do?

This is not an answer rather an addition to this problem in that my shower runs for a minute or two and then shuts down. I depress the button and it starts up again and so the cycle goes no. I have to switch it off from the mains switch otherwise it comes on and off at will. The red light on the switch flashes on and off too. One last thing, it is like it is choking/panting when I switch the shower on for the first time and await the water. Eventually the water comes spluttering out and it runs as mentioned above.

The shower has a phased shutdown to enable the hot water to run out of shower. If you press stop once it will shut off after a few seconds.
