I have just bought one of these cookers on ebay and on getting it home, found that the door did not shut. After some investigation I have fixed ours without having to buy new parts. What I found was that the hinge receptor (where the hinge does into on the cooker) was bent out at the top causing the whole door and hinge mechanism to come to the top of it's cycle before the door is fully shut. This could have been caused by the door being lent on or slammed open, ie being opened too far. THE SOLUTION: remove the door by opening and pulling the latches over the sprung part and pulling the door up and out. Have a look at the area around the two slots either side, take a screwdriver and place in the lower slot and push upwards until the slots are in line. Pop the door back on and it will be like new - no more hot knobs!!
