hoover classica drum not turning?

i have a hoover classica,that will go through a whole wash cycle but the drum will not turn and therefore will not wash properly or spin.I HAVE CHECKED THE BELT AND BRUSHES WHICH ARE ALL FINE.ANYBODY HAVE ANY OTHER IDEAS.
