How can i fix my car?

My car wont start, it whines on but doesn't fire up. it doesn't get any higher than 1000revs. what could it b? help needed asap. its an 02 reg saxo vtr

I have a 1989 Toyota Kingcap pickup truck. When I get above 40mph it begins to knock...the faster I go the louder the knock. The sound is coming from the front end of the vehicle. Any ideas?
