hi went to start my 52 plate transit van and battery dead and remote would not open the door had to use key, locks removed on back door as so easy to break in but put jump leads on the van and started it. but now remote will not open door or lock doors , looked in transit book and fuse is behind instument panel and not sure if i take it apart i can get it back together ,will i have to take to a ford dealer @£30 an hour or can you help thanks nick

Lay in the foot well and look up under the steering coluum and you should see the 2 fuses.
