geez ive got a fiesta courer, check the timer relay that suplys the plugs is ok,if u have no test gear take a fairly stout piece of wire- iron/electric heater wire is best hav an asistant hold 1 end on the battery + or red terminal and you hold the other on ether of the heater plugs-all are wired together so it dont matter wich, hold on for a maximum of 20 seconds-less if the wire heats up there should be small sparks on conection and disconection-means all is workin well, now quik run and start imediatly, if its still as bad the plugs and wirings not at fault, next i recomend a new diesel filter- is the coke-can sise thing with 2 black push fit pipes and a small screw in the top -to the right side of the engin lookin at it from the frount. is as simple as it looks undo the holder clamp -squeez the pipe ends and pull , refit as reverse, the book says the system is self bleeding , crank the engin with foot hard down will start eventualy. after this afraid your lookin at spendin wadds. at the garage, the fuel lines cud be blocked /may be lettin air in/the injectors need lookin at/ the main pump is goin. all these are meggar buks sorry. 1 other thing my starters gettin lazy its making mine slower to start, this seems to be a ford thing. good luk
