how do i replace the nock sensor in a 1996 corsa 1.4 auto
Malcolm Curtis, July 2007
Knock sensor (KS) is usually on the back of the enigne, access is usualy only from under the car. Lok around the sump area under the inlet manifold. KS should only be bolted on by one bolt, usualy 13mm hex. Undo bolt, disconnect wire connecotr, refit new KS to torque (very important, as ECU may get false readings due to vibration), reconnect conector - job done.
