I would like to either paint or recover the seat on my 89 Yamaha WR500 Waverunner. I would like purple or green I think. Has anyone done this or know how to do it? What fabrics or fabric paint can I use? What about the handlebar cover? Can that be painted along with the machine?

yes u can recover your seat,its acturaly quite easy,and they make vinal paint but i recomend just ordering some vinal,try finding some on ebay in your collor,then just remove the seat,turn it upside down and you will see the plastic frame,you can use short heavy grade staples to atatch your new vinal,make sure you start on one side then stretch the material verry tight as you staple the other side,after both are stapled then staple front and back,i use yahoo mesanger if u have more questions
