How can i stop my creda simplicity tcr2 from tripping my electicity?

My creda simplicity tcr2 condenser dryer keeps tripping my electricity supply. I have changed the plug and the fuse and I've cleaned all filters etc. Can anyone help or advise?

Scott's post of January 2009 is spot on. My dryer every so often would trip the ring main & previously cleaning the main condenser filter worked but not this time. So an internet search brought me to this forum & I followed Scott's recommendation to the letter and it worked a treat. Very simple to do, all you need is a small Phillips screwdriver and hair dryer.

i had the same problem when it was under warrenty 3 times before they came and said there was a email about this fault. they did replace the element with another type and i have never had the problem again

Just been on a few other web sites, found one that has cured the problem.
And it was easy and saved me £££££'s
Un-plug the dryer, on the back of the dryer you will see an oval cover with about 6 screws on it and a little cover with 2 screws in it.
Take out the screws and remove the covers, in the larger cover you will see the heating elements that produce the heat for the dryer, and you can see two electrical sensors above them, the possible reason your dryer keeps tripping out is that they have got water in them, you will need to dry them out either by leaving them to dry or like i did got the misses hair dryer on them.
Re-screwed it all back together and it's now back up and running.
This was all caused by not cleaning the big condensing filter at the bottom of the dryer on a regular basis, this then builds up moisture inside the dryer and on those little sensors.
Hope this helps!!!.

Have the same problem, Like most people who have purchased this product. Wish I had read the reviews first would have avoided it like the plague. Think it has been created to provide work for Creda Engineers. They must be extremely busy.

firstly try not using for a couple of days to give it time to dry as you possible have got the heater damp or wet which is the usual cause, if this will not work then you will more than likely require a new heater.
