I have a 1991 honda civic. I'm trying to charge the unit but I'm not sure where to charge it? high or low side? Please respond asap. It's really hot. Thanks!
To do this you really need an air con machine. Additionally, in the EU it is an offence to vent coolant to the atmosphere and so air con is not a DIY prospect here.

if the system is empty, you will need to find out why, then evacuate system to remove an moisture. charge on low side.
