What is causing that noise?

I have a Mondeo Mk3 Rcently has been making a noise that sounds like it is the driver rear wheel had the wheel repaced and balance but the noise is still there. What could it be
Andrew, August 2007
depends on the noise, probably wheel bearing (grinding/whining while car is moving) or brakes (metallic grinding when braking)

The balancing weight could have fallen off - I've had this happen to me before. Also if you've got different tires it could just be tire noise. Also check the wheel nuts are tight.
