My new Indesit washer has a door lock light that flashes when the cycle is done. After the dial is turned to off, the light is supposed to turn off -- but now, it's continuing to flash even in the off position. It's not flickering quickly (not an error code), just continues to flash as if the dial hasn't been turned. Switching off at the wall does nothing. It still washes fine, though I don't know what cycle it uses when it's supposed to be off. Any ideas?

if it is a wia model then your main board has gone and this will cost about £100 not worth doing as machine will continue to work fine. only replace when it starts to affect washing machine.
