hi phillip i can hear the clicking sound from the relay. but no i havent clean out the debris please can you explain were abouts i should clean and what ? sorry i complete idiot when come to bikes :D

make sure you replace the oil pump drive belt a.s.a.p. Renowned for failing, espeacially if your drive belt has just broken, only costs about £9.
IF you don't the first you know about it will be the engine seizing !!!

either you starter is not getting any power, check large red wire feeding starter motor - should be 12v+ when you push the button (hear the click of the relay) if not then its either faulty relay or the large red wire has been damaged.

OR when the belt broke debris / bits of belt found there way into the starter motor mechanism (and possibly bendix) and jammed it up

DID YOU CLEAN ALL THE DEBRIS OUT
