How can i fix my White Knight WK767 Condenser Leaking Water?

Any ideas what is wrong with my tumble dryer. Its runs fine however no water comes out of the pipe at the back it just runs out of the bottom of the machine. I have seen other people with the same problem on here but nobody has answered it ??? Is it a common problem ??

why is the red light indicator not going out?? i've cleaned the heat exchanger...as the fluff filter has a hole in it! bottle is empty. i've even pressed this red button at the back but no joy. has the hole in the fluff filter finally caught up with me and caused a block somewhere?? the dryer is about 2 years old

Check the cap and o-ring holding the pump impellor on it's shaft hasen't come off and jammed it. I removed the impellor cover, easy click fitting, reset the o-ring and impellor and glued the cover in place. Cost £1.99 for the impact adhesive not £40+ :)

in reply to this it could be the sump pump a long job new fans a few £s pump £40+ it will take about an hour to do as for buying bosche they are made in the same factory

The most likely reasons for the leak is a failed pump or a fluff blockage somewhere. The machine won't leak for a while as the "sump" in the bottom of the machine slowly fills up, then it pisses all over the floor because the pump isn't emptying. You need to get to the pump and check it. If it checks out OK then it's a blockage and you need to strip more of the machine which as far as I can see is made like a Chinese puzzle.

If the fan is really stuck fast the standard way of proceeding is apparently to carefully smash the fan and replace later, though be very carefull not to bend the shaft. This one of the reasons that White Knight tumblers have a poor reputation when it comes to servicing. Next time I pay more and get a Bosch.

Thanks for your prompt reply. I have taken all the screws out the back of the appliance however cant get the fan off the back. I have removed the screw holding it in. Any Tips ???

Un plug it and whip the back off, inspect for damage to the outlet pipe and drum housing. If nothing is obvious, try putting a small, very small amount of water inside the clothes drum and see where it is leaking from. If nothing drips I suspect that the problme is the condenser is blocked and the steam created from the drying process is escaping into the machine. Please do not work on any electrical appliance that is pluged in or may be hot from having just been used, if so let it cool down for the sake of safety.
I'll try and get back on here to see how you get on.
