HOw can I fix my dishlex 100? It won't work?

I have a dishlex 100 and the heater element is not working. Is that enough to stop it working and will just replacing that fix the problem?

i had the same problem. The machine will pause while it waits for the water temprature to rise but it never does. So it waits and waits and waits. I repaired a broken wire on the element, but it could be the element instead.
