I have a Hotpoint washing machine which is spinning but not draining? Would this be the pump or the filter? Is it something that I would beable to fix. If so how?

You must have fixed this by now but it's worth mentioning that the WM66 has a filter bowl in the tube between drum and pump. I've just found £4.50 in small change and three drill bits in mine!

You could try looking uner the washing machine for the pump (try looking where the hose comes in, placing a bucket under it (this can be awkward!), removing the two clips holding the hoses onto it and emptying it the checking if anything is stuck in the way of the pump. Please do not do this with electricity on !
