My white knight tumble dryer tumbles very slowly or not at all?

My white knight (CL437WV) tumble dryer tumbles very slowly or not at all when there is any more than a very light load in it. It tends to speed up after a while. Does this mean it needs a new belt or could there be some other reason?

can i fix it

Hi, the reason this is happening is more than likely a faulty capacitor on your motor. These are easily replacable, however you must make sure that when you replace the cap, you replace it with a cap of the same capacitance i.e replace like for like. Capacitors are measured in microfarauds. Make sure the appliance is isolated, locate the motor remove the cap and replace with new.
