Ford Ka 2002 heater and blower not working?

having just puchased a second hand 2002 Ka Ive found that the heater and blower are not working, it is completely dead. Have changed the blower fuse but this has not solved the problem. Any ideas?

I had a similar problem and found that a wire had come out of the wiring connection which is located under the dashboard on the passenger side. It is positioned so that it can be easily knocked out by the passeners foot when they stretch their legs out.
