I just replaced my center element with one from a Sunbeam 3823. Works great. MM needs some mod to adapt for for wires. But with a little care, it's not a big deal.

Modern Maid no longer makes the KBT100 built in toaster. Parts are no longer available either. I have been looking for a center element for one I have as well.If you decide to part yours out and have one set of elements that still work or even just one center element, I would love to purchase it from you.
