What is the easiest way of securing rear doors?

I have a Ford Transit Van. 2003 What is the most efficient way of keeping back doors from slamming or more importantly swinging backwards on the hinges into the path of an innocent victim during gusty weather?
Old Speckled Hen, August 2007
The doors should have ties on them that stop them going past 90° unless you push a button near the hinge. Check that this is free firstly.
