electrolux caravan fridge model RM 212?

After using gas on site for the last four days, I find I cannot return to using mains electricity. The switch is dead, although it was working perfectly befrore I switched to gas. Any ideas of my prob.

Hi. Sounds daft I know but check the earth connection at the base of the heating element. Mine was dead too and spent ages with a tester trying to work it out, then spotted the wire off. Hope this helps

if it runs on gas can you then return to using the 12v system or is this also not working if this is the case suspect your element is broken i have just had this problem a new element will cost around £35 but you need a caravan engineer to fit this
