How can i stop overheating in my Fiat Brava?

hi there i recently bought a Fiat Brava 1.4sx 1996 model from a friend and it keeps overheating. I've tried bleeding the engine. it stops overheating for about two days then start's overheating again. how can i fix this

Hi,
Start with the usual suspects; thermostat, then water pump. It's unlikely to be a head gasket because it doesn't overheat all the time, but be aware that the more you overheat it, the more likely you are to cause bigger snags.
