my 1997 chrysler sebring odometer and tachometer goes on and off. The mileage still calculates though. How do I fix it myself? I have heard that it could be a wire. How do I locate it? The dealer ship says to replace the circuit board. They haven't checked it out though. I haven't had good luck with dealerships.thank you

I FOUND A WEBSITE FOR MINE BECUASE THE GLOW GAUGES GOES ON AND OFF. THE WEBSITE SAID THAT A RESISTOR WAS GETTING HOT AT THE BACK OF THE BOARD AND CAUSING THE SOLDER TO WEAR OFF. BUT THE BOARD THEY HAD AND MINE WAS DIFFERENT. IVE WENT THRU AND RESEATED CONNECTORS AND IT HELPED FOR A BOUT 2 WEEKS BUT NOW IT DOESNT DO IT AS MUCH. I WOULD GOTO JUNKYARD AND GET ONE AND REPLACE.
