How to locate and remove my thermostat on b7100 kubota hydro 4 wheel?

I would like to remove and test the thermostat on my B7100Hydro 4wd kubota. 1. Where is it? 2. Assuming it is at the base of the engine right after the 90 elbow, how do I loosen the fan belt to remove the housing that i believe is covering the thermostat?

Haz:
I have a B7100 tractor as well and to my surprise it has a water pump and a thermostat. Apparently, the vast majority of these tractors had neither but relied instead on a thermosiphon system in which the cooler water displaces the warmer water. My engine's thermostat (as you are looking at it) is on the upper right and has a small wire wrapped hose connecting it to the water pump. On my tractor I have 2 fan belts, I think this might be one of the identifiers in determining if yours has a water pump/therostat set up or the thermosiphon. As far as I can tell the rad is really subject to clogging and must be kept clean.

Cheers, Erik
