How can I fix my windscreen washer on my 1997 ford escort 1.6 automatic?

My ford escort's windscreen washers are not functioning correctly. Both the front and rear washers appear to have power to them as you can hear the pump when the washer stalk buttons are pressed on the steering column. Water pours out of the rear (not sprays) and the front has very little pressure at all. On the drivers side, the connection between the black hose and the jets that are fitted to the bonnet has snapped so I am not sure whether this can be replaced via a breakers yard (new jet and connect the hose to the existing?). Can anyone help and what seems a ridiculous problem? Thanks
