lack of power?

i have a 1993 K reg vauxhall astra 16i (8 valves) which has lost it power, ie: start fine, ticks over fine, but when i pull away it feels like it has no get up and go.

Try putting a fuel injection cleaner addative in the fuel when you fill up with petrol next time.
