How can I increase water pressure in my shower head?

Yesterday the water was turned off to fix a leaky pipe outside in the yard. When the water was turned on, the pressure in my shower dropped . Previously there was full pressure and no problem prior to this. Now the pressure is very low.

How about back to basics and ensuring the water stopcock has been turned back on full

Sorry Ron you mean the hot first as it is an indirect pressure.
If that fails Alma, it could be poss. that there has been a bit of dross picked up in the system, remove the shower head, direct the hose into the bath and turn both hot and cold on flat out and see if it blows it out.

Sounds like you've introduced an air-lock. Try coupling one of your cold water taps onto the hot water tap on any of your sinks. You will need to be able to fit a hose securely over the taps. Turn off both taps initially and when the hose is fitted turn on the cold tap followed by the hot one. Mains pressure should blow the air lock around the system back into the cold water storage tank in your loft. Leave the taps on for about half a minute or so.
