i have hoover ultra care 6+3kg model HW6316M UK. it was washing suddenly the drum stopped rotating. i pumped out the water but it refuses to to turn. i tried switch on dryer position it did not move. there was no smell of burned motor and it is just over a year old. it is either pcb board or capacitor or possibly the main switch which we have to turn to set the program??. which one do you think is most likely. i have multimeter at home i have done my HND in electrical eng so not to worry about getting an electric shock. many thanks

hi only two possibles
1) motor brushes worn out(after only 12 months i dont think so but check)
2) the seperate small circuit board at the back low down is faulty
