My dryer is smelly?

My clothes have been coming out smelly after washing, thought it was the washer, so used the Cascade trip, had to run it 20 times until all the gunk came out, but noticed last night, the washer now smells good, but the dryer...YUCK! What's the trick on this one? It's a Kenmore 110. series with the lint filter inside the door jam.

your question is confusing. If the dryer is overheating the operating themostat is bad. It cycles at 190deg. but can short together. Replaces it It is in the front on the heat tube on the right side. You can put a =temp gauge in the exhaust and it should cycle about 140 to 190. if you have it set on high cotton.
