vauxhall zafira 2.0 TDI - OIL FILTER?

I need to change my engine oil & filter on my 52 plate Vauxhall Zafira 2.0 L TDI. Where exactly on the engine is the oil filter?and where is the oil sump drain plug and does it require any special type of socket to loosen?

have anybody heard of the red light coming on after doing a oil filter

The sumo drain plug is at the back of the engine, toward the rear. You will have to remove the under engine guard using a flat balded screwdriver. You will need a Torx 40 fitting to remove the sump screw. Its a splined socket fitting.

HI, the oil filter is at the front of the engine, slightly to the right. You may have to remove the black platic engine cover. It should have a 36mm 'nut' shape on its housing so a suitable sized socket would be needed to remove it.
Fuel filter will be under the bulkhead, roughly in the centre just under the windscreen, again its a large black circular housing ( about 3.5" in diameter. On some, there is also a fuel filter in side the rear wheel arch.

Front of engine rhs (looks like a power steering fluid bottle) Sump plug remove plastic belly pan and you will see female "TORX" hole in sump plug
