how dor you adjust the handbrake cable on a mk5 escort please?

I have a mk5 and the handbrake cable needs adjustment. I can't figure out how this is done as there doesn't seem to be any way of doing it?

THe adjuster is located to the side of the handbrake lever. You will have to remove the trim fom around the handbrake lever and you will see a 10mm nut/bolt. you may need a 'deep' socket to do the job.
