I have an intermittent problem when I click the multi function switch to the appropriate positions. Whilst the Front headlights are functioning, the Control/Instrument Panel and Tail Lights, are working intermittently. Can anyone advise me what areas to check(ie. wiring). I would be most grateful for any help.

It may be a faulty multi-function switch which are expensive. You could get one from a breaker via the web. Before spending any cash follow the wiring down alongside the steering column from the MF switch and check the condition of any multi-plugs. Make sure the plugs are tightly connected together and look for any signs of overheating due to bad connections (a problem on this model) ie discolouration or partial melting of the plastic.
