How can i fix my Renault clio 1.2 grande w reg?

After replacing my battery, the car now seems to have a fuel supply problem. It will fire up but the revs are low, and if you try and pump the accelerator it seems to die

Any ideas?

Engine management computer has possibly lost its settings whilst the battery was disconnected. Turn on ignition wait one minute then start engine.
