when i try to open limewire it want let me connect to interent what shouls?

when trying to connect to interent the lime wire want coonnect becase of a firewall how do i get pass that

Assuming you are connected to the Internet first. Start Limewire and if it comes up with an error inside Limewire, go look in your Firewall for "blocked sites or applications" and if you find Limewire there look for the way that the Firewall allows you to unblock the site/application. If the Firewall is a 3rd part one e.g. work, they probably have a policy not to allow "peer to peer" networking and you will not be able to connect to Limewire.

You have to allow it in your firewall. If you have XP Firewall, you should get a pop up warning, if you have other 3rd party firewalls you need to allow it in the list and it you have a hardware firewall, then you need to allow it there.

Look at the Limewire help text, that should show you what ports are required.
