How can I fix my Kenmore Ultrawash III (year?)Model 16949-63?

-My Kenmore Ultrawash III doesn not get enough water when washing. What is wrong?
-What are the exact dimensions in case I have to replace it for a new one?
The current seem to be 33 1/4" which maximizes my counters int. hight. Most new dishwashers seem to be 33 3/4 high.

Thanks

Ed

I had the exact same problem. You need to replace the inlet fill valve. The rubber diaphram inside swells ever so slightly over time and restricts the water flow. I'm sure you'll find the procedure for that on this or other sites

Hey Ed:

I'm seeking the solution to the same problem. The fill process just started reducing and left us to pouring water in by hand between cycles. I think it is in the timing cycle or a defect in the sensor. Let me know if you get an answer. I'll do the same.
