I have to fit a new door seal, I have removed the plastic clip but the rubber appears to connect to a hose at the top, do I have to remove the front panel or not to connect it.

I'm a Zanussi engineer and my advice is get someone out. This is a surprisingly tricky job. I've seen people sweating over this for a day or two and still they can't do it - it's about technique and strong wrists. Any decent engineer can do this in about 5 mins.
