My Triton T80i shut down whilst in use?

Whilst standing under the T80i shower I detected it momentarily going cooler, then shutting down altogether. The 'Red' pressure sensor flag has appeared in the window. The water flow (mains pressure) is OK. I now have the unit off the wall, all the electrics look fine, the incoming solenoid is OK electrically, but looks a bit manky. Is there a blocked filter somewhere on the input side? If I look into the Water Inlet (short nylon stub), there is no filter as such - just a seive-like gauze at the bottom of the tube in the nylon material itself - and it appears clean/clear..

Even though I had convinced myself that the Input Side Solenoid Valve assembly was OK (I thought I had continuity on a tester), it turned out not to be so. The windings on the solenoid are open circuit, so I'm ordering a replacement now (£30.23) from Triton.
I could always go after the unit on e-bay.....

check the solinoid it should be 3.5 ohms or above if below it's faulty.

also check the shower remove the shower head and turn to cold does it come out fast, then turn to hot does the flow slow right down ?
if they are both the same hot & cold the flow valve /stabilizer is faulty.

the filter is the plastic sleeve you can see up the water inlety.
