The red handle under the steering column no longer releases my bonnet latch, how else can i open it?

it all depends on why it doesn't work i would say the cable has snapped but where it may just be a case of taking the trim off the steering column and using a pair of pliers to pull on the cable to having to get below the car and reach for the bonnet catch from below
