Failed on handbrake being able to travel all the way up needs adjusting the lever so theres not as much play when pulled up

I have an s reg 420gsdi.
More thank likely you have solved this. But the adjustment is made when you lift the center console/arm rest up. Push both driver and pass seats forward. You should then see a screw at the side of center console. There may be a screw in the cigar holder. You will need 2 adjust spanners to do the adjusting.
