Can a 4562 Singer machine be oiled? is doesn't show in the instructions,?

Can a 4562 Singer sewing machine be oiled? is doesn't show in the instructions, I got the machine used/ hadn't been used in 5 years and needs a cleaning/lube/tune up? Thanks for any help

You may not have oil holes on your machine, if it is the model I am thinking of you should be able to undo two screws on top of the machine and take the top off, if you can do that you should see oil holes, just a few drops of fine oil is all that is needed, open the faceplate where the needle bar is or take it off if it does not open and put just a couple of drops only on top of the needle bar and any part that moves, a small drop of oil on the raceway is needed, any problems, e-mail me
